My Values

01. SERVing our clients

I serve our clients with compassion, fairness, integrity, and honesty.

I respect the vulnerable adults in our cases and work with our clients to ensure they get to live their best possible life. We safeguard their autonomy and agency as best we can.

I strive for resolutions that avoid unnecessary or overly invasive legal procedures.

Every client’s life is unique, and I honor that by crafting creative and tailored solutions to their problems.

0.2 Practicing Law with civility

I treat counsel with respect. Yet, I will never choose collegiality over my clients’ best interests.

I do not paper cases with unnecessary motion practice, discovery disputes, etc. But I am very adept at dealing with that tactic.

An attorney is only as valuable as the strength of her goodwill. My reputation is cultivated through excellent work product, conduct, and the outcomes I produce for my clients.

03. Empowering Each Person

We are a professional, inclusive, and collaborative law firm focused on the continued growth and empowerment of our employees.

We listen to our employees, respect them, identify their strengths and challenge their weaknesses, so they can grow as individuals and professionals.

We welcome free discussion and input about our policies and practices from all our attorney and non-attorney staff

04.  Actively Expanding our Impact.

We use the law, our social capital, and our creativity to further equity, compassion, and economic justice.

We engage directly with the larger community to learn and listen to the concerns of those negatively impacted by our practice area.

We integrate those lessons in our advocacy for changes in California’s probate laws.

We work with organizations that develop innovative solutions to remediate generational wealth disparity.

We provide free, easy-to-understand resources about estate planning, probates, administering estates, and elder abuse that offer useful tools directly to the public through our blog.
